Painting a Portrait 003 CourseCatalog/images/new.gif

Painting a portrait may seem complex and intimidating at first, but if we were to break this subject into smaller components it will be much easier to grasp and conquer.  We will focus on giving both beginner and intermediate level participants the fundamentals necessary to get them started and find ways to troubleshoot once working on their own.  Also to be addressed are color, likeness, composition, and paint quality.  There will be frequent mini-lectures and demonstrations that will help solidify your overall art knowledge.
